⭐ At the 2025 Rotary Fundraising Concert

— Youth creativity in service of the community

Crafty Co. joined the Rotary Club of Vancouver Centennial’s 2025 Fundraising Concert with a full afternoon of art, service, and community spirit.

The event took place on November 16, 2025, at Fraserview Church, bringing together Rotary members, youth volunteers, families, and partner organizations in support of several charitable causes. This year’s beneficiaries included Ratanak International, Rotary’s Polio initiatives, Interact youth programs, and the Soles4Souls Canada shoe drive.

During the ceremony, Rotary members presented a symbolic cheque of $18,000, reflecting the generosity and hard work behind the concert.

🎨 Crafty Co. Youth Handmade Booth

Crafty Co. set up a bright, cheerful display filled with handmade pieces created by our young makers.

Students handled everything themselves—from laying out the displays to explaining the stories behind each item. Their booth quickly became a lively spot where guests stopped to browse, chat, and support youth-designed products with a purpose.

💙 Youth Volunteers in Action

Throughout the event, Crafty Co. students contributed in many ways:

  • Setting up and organizing the booth

  • Assisting guests arriving for the concert

  • Managing sales and answering questions

  • Collaborating with Interact and Rotary volunteers

  • Supporting the Soles4Souls shoe and clothing drive

Their involvement showed genuine initiative and teamwork. It was a chance for them to see how small efforts—whether greeting guests or helping with donations—can make a real difference.

🤝 A Community Effort Built on Music and Service

The concert featured performances by the Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra and local musicians, creating an inspiring atmosphere where families, sponsors, and youth came together for a shared purpose.

For Crafty Co., the day was more than a marketplace. It was an opportunity for students to experience leadership, responsibility, and empathy in a real community setting. They learned that creativity can also be a form of service — a way to connect with others and support meaningful causes through simple handmade items.
